Duties of a MOT Technician:

• Conducting vehicle inspections and MOT tests in line with legal and industry standards
• Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults with precision
• Maintaining comprehensive records of work undertaken
• Assisting fellow technicians with complex technical tasks when required
• Ensuring vehicle repairs and services are completed within designated timeframes
• Delivering high levels of customer service and satisfaction
• Supporting team operations and maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment

Requirements of a MOT Technician:

• Valid MOT Tester qualification
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Master Technician within the automotive trade
• Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and MOT testing procedures
• Ability to work independently with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and dedication to high-quality work
• Flexibility to work some Saturdays on a rota basis
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
