Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and adaptable Band 5 Registered General Nurse (RGN) looking for a fast-paced locum assignment? Evolve Staffing Ltd. is urgently recruiting an experienced Staff Nurse to support acute healthcare services in Norwich.

In this critical role, you will be deployed across General Medical, Surgical, and Escalation Wards, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This is an excellent opportunity for an agency nurse seeking immediate, consistent work with predictable long days.

Shift Details & Core Hours:

• Banding: Band 5

• Duration: ASAP start for a 6-week continuous assignment

• Core Hours: Long Days (07:00am – 19:30pm)

• Working Days: Predominantly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts required to meet clinical demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional, evidence-based clinical care across Medical, Surgical, and Escalation environments.

• Assess patient needs, implement comprehensive care plans, and safely administer medications.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure rapid, safe patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and escalate deteriorating patients efficiently.

Essential Requirements:

• Active NMC Registration (Nursing and Midwifery Council Pin).

• Proven UK clinical experience working as a Band 5 RGN within a hospital ward setting (Medical, Surgical, or Acute).

• Up-to-date mandatory training, immunisations, and a valid Enhanced DBS.

• Ability to hit the ground running in a busy, escalating clinical environment.
