Pay Rate: £16.00 – £17.50 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced Senior Care Assistants to support a well-established care home in Eccles, East Suffolk.

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents.

• Lead and support care teams during shifts, ensuring care plans are followed.

• Administer and record medication where appropriately trained and authorised.

• Monitor residents’ wellbeing and report any changes or concerns promptly.

• Support with personal care, mobility, nutrition and hydration.

• Complete accurate care documentation and daily records.

• Promote residents’ dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing.

• Assist with handovers and communicate effectively with colleagues, residents and families.

• Support junior care staff and provide guidance during shifts.

• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and infection-control procedures.

We are looking for Senior Care Assistants who are:

• Experienced within a residential or nursing care home environment is essential

• Confident leading a team and taking responsibility during a shift.

• Compassionate, reliable and professional.

• Able to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.

• Comfortable working independently and using initiative.

• Committed to delivering excellent standards of care.

• Available for a range of agency shifts, including weekends and nights where required.

• £16.00 – £17.50 per hour
